Though a relatively recent addition to forces in the national army, woman's place in this military branch is recorded and honored in the U.S. Army Women's Museum. Here, exhibits and displays tell the story of the incorporation of women's units into the army and some of the most heroic stories of women proving themselves as exemplary soldiers. The American Revolution exhibit is particularly interesting, highlighting a few of the women who served during the Revolutionary War in their own unique ways. Located in Fort Lee, the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum is also on base and well worth a visit.
